Staying organised

I like to think that I’m quite an organised person. For starters, I keep all my receipts and file them away. In recent years I’ve started taking photos of my receipts and uploading them to a file on a cloud application online so I can always refer back to them if needed. It’s better to do it like that as it means I don’t have to hold onto physical papers and worry about them getting lost or damaged. Even my holidays are always organised. I don’t like to arrive somewhere and be totally lost as far as my plans. What I tend to do is set up a spreadsheet of all the locations I want to visit and how much they will cost and what day I plan to see which sight. I don’t always stick to the plan, but the spreadsheet does help me make the most of things.

Another thing I am very organised about is my car. I will always book an expert logbook car service. Keeping track of the services my car gets is extremely important to me as I believe it makes it easier to sell a car in the future. I figure I’m organised in every other part of my life, so I might as well be organised when it comes to taking care of my car too. I think this has been proven helpful as my car tends to not really have any running issues as they’re always identified early on because of my regular services.

I always book my services at the same mechanic. Underwood has been a place I’ve lived in for a long time and I don’t plan on moving anytime soon. If I were to move, then I’d see if I could still make it to this mechanic. If not, I’d have to find another location that is happy to do a logbook service.
