It’s no secret around the office that I’m quite partial to Mediterranean Cuisine. I can eat mezze plates and mixed grills until I am bloated with pita bread and muttering incoherently from meat sweats. So when we heard that there was a modern Mediterranean café in our very own Surry Hills ‘hood, with some pretty delish desserts showing up in our Instagram feeds, I volunteered to check it out. Café Mint is perfect for the solo bruncher. A welcoming modern Mediterranean cafe, serving good comfort food, soothing vibes and a friendly smile. It’s small and narrow in size, but filled to the brim with little groups sitting behind the polished wooden upholstery. Read the full review

The Seafood Tagine we ordered was from their lunch menu and it was huge! Packed full of prawns, shellfish, squid and fish fillet with chermoula tomato sauce and saffron potatoes – we looked at each other wondering how we were going to finish the whole dish! Read the full review
